At Winn & Company we strive to give our clients efficient and seamless customer service. With this goal in mind, we have a dedicated operations team that supports our technical insurance function.
There are many aspects to the need for operational expertise. Our example is a well trained and pleasant receptionist to properly and quickly direct client calls. There are also issues involving Winn & Company floor plans and support systems. We continue to analyze operations so that we can best group people together for maximum teamwork and support.
The systems issue is one of our top priorities. Our staff spends the majority of their day on the phone, computer, fax, copier, etc. We continue to work to have the most state-of-the-art equipment in place to make our team as efficient as possible in exceeding the customer service expectation of our clients.

While our clients are headquartered in California, an ever-increasing number have out-of-state and/or foreign operations and exposures. We have excellent relationships with insurance carriers and related vendors that deal with these far flung operations. We have many multi-state and foreign programs in place for our clients.

Winn & Co. has specialized in serving the construction industry for more than 40 years. We are active members of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the Engineering and Utility Contractors Association (EUCA). We are extremely knowledable and current on the exposures faced by contractors and we have a thorough understanding of the coverages and strategies most effective in mitigating these exposures. We are experienced in crafting programs for all areas of the construction industry. This includes developers, general contractors, trade and specialty contractors.

Winn & Co. has specialized in serving clients in the food processing industry for more than 50 years. We are active members of the California League of Food Processors (CLFP) and the International Fresh Cut Produce Association (IFPA). We serve clients in all specialties within the food processing industry including processors, canneries, manufacturers of food components and manufacturers of finished products.
This industry requires specialty coverages that can withstand the high level of risk faced by a processing operation. We have strong relationships with insurance carriers that specialize in this area and can provide those coverages for our clients.

During our 88-year history, we have served more clients in the agriculture industry than in any other sector. And that is still true today. We provide programs for all types of farming and ranching enterprises including livestock, row crops, orchards, vineyards and greenhouse operations. We have an excellent Farm Program package that includes all of the basic and essential coverages farm operations require. We also have decades of experience in serving the Workers' Compensation needs of our agriculture industry clients. Workers' Compensation is a growing concern for these clients and we work closely with them on their loss control and compliance programs.
